Tri Chemical Laboratories is a chemical manufacturing company founded in 1978 by three individuals, led by current Chairman Jumpei Takenaka.
The company name combines chemical with tri, reflecting the significance of the number three to our organization, including our values, which are structured into three groups of three.

Step2 What is our focus?
New plant to produce next-generation materials
We constructed a new plant in March 2025 to meet the growing need for next-generation materials driven by the global expansion of semiconductor and data center demand accompanying the rapid proliferation of generative AI.
Strengthening our presence in the global market
The new Minami-Alps Plant enhances our ability to meet growing demand in the global semiconductor market, particularly in the rapidly expanding East Asian region. We will continue to strengthen our role as an indispensable partner in the global supply chain, supporting technological advancement around the world.

We hire approximately 20 new employees each year, primarily graduates with backgrounds in chemistry. We are committed to placing the right people in the right roles, emphasizing hands-on experience and providing effective training programs in chemical development, quality control, production processes, and occupational safety and health.
